Infants Choir

Wideview School has a long history of providing an Infants Choir to the children in Years One, Two and Kindergarten.  Children meet once a week before school to sing songs just for fun – generally, two teachers work with the group.  The Infants Choir participates in performances at school assemblies, scripture services, Performing Arts Night, and our annual Wideview Showcase - also in occasional other events such as School Fetes and the Hornsby District Music Festival. Children gain a little practice in breath control, volume and pitch, as well as occasionally singing in two parts or rounds. Infants Choir is a great stepping-stone to the Primary Choir in later years. It’s great to see the children master songs and really enjoy the experience of singing as a part of a group.
