“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. It is the only thing that ever has.”

WHAT IS A P&C ASSOCIATION?

A P&C Association is a school-based organisation consisting of parents, teachers and interested citizens established under the guidelines of the Education Act 1990.

A key role identified in the Education Act is for the P&C to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and to promote the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.

We are very proud of our group of committed parents and teaching staff representatives who work together with the Principal to achieve great things for the Wideview school and community.

P&C MEETINGS

Our P&C meets weeks 3 & 7 of each term at 7:00pm in the school staffroom. We are run by volunteers for the executive committee and sub committees – Canteen, Uniform, WOOSCH, and Band.

Please come along and check out a meeting – there is no minimum commitment required – you can just listen and learn, volunteer for an event, coordinate one with a group of friends/parents, or put your hand up for an executive position!  As much or as little as you can commit to is appreciated and helps out our great community. And it’s FUN!
